Quietly launching this summer

A coach
that remembers
you.

No score. No streak.
Just someone who's been paying attention since March.

For people whose apps forget them by Tuesday.

Tuesday, May 19
Morning, friend.
Today
Third short night this week — and you mentioned Q2 review was coming. Easy on yourself today. A walk if you want one.

The short list

Things we
refuse to do.

  • No streaks. Friendships don't have streaks.
  • No daily score. You're not a metric.
  • No calorie targets. Ever.
  • No "you're behind." Behind what?
  • No re-engagement pushes. If you're gone, you're gone.
  • No selling your data. Not now, not later.
What it does

Three things, done well.

Nothing fancy. Everything intentional.

01

One thing in the morning.

A short observation about how you slept, framed like something a thoughtful friend would say. You can act on it, talk it through, or skip it. No streak breaks.

"Last night was a short one. Take it easy if you can."
02

Real conversations when you need them.

Tap into chat anytime — your coach remembers what you've talked about. No prescriptions. No "5 tips for better sleep." Just someone who's been listening.

"How long have you actually been training consistently? Real consistently?"
03

A Sunday review that earns its place.

Once a week, a gentle look at patterns you couldn't see day to day. No grades. No "you should." Just observations and a conversation starter.

"You slept noticeably better on training days this week. Your body might be telling you something."
Who this is for

If any of this sounds like you,
we built it for you.

— 01

You deleted MyFitnessPal because you were logging meals at restaurants like a psycho and it stopped being cute.

— 02

You bought a fitness watch, then started checking your sleep score before you got out of bed, and that felt bad.

— 03

You're rebuilding after something hard. Postpartum. A loss. A long stretch of work that ate everything. You don't want to be optimized. You want to be okay.

— 04

You're tired of wellness apps that gamify your body and would like, just once, to be treated like a person who's paying attention to themselves.

What it notices

A coach that connects dots you couldn't connect alone.

It remembers what you told it weeks ago. It notices patterns across your sleep, your training, the weeks that wear you down. It does real thinking behind the scenes — then talks to you like a friend who did their homework.

You — Thursday, 7:14am
my energy has been garbage this week. like really rough.
Coach
I noticed. Couple things showing up at the same time — you've slept under 6h three nights, and you mentioned Tuesday and Wednesday were rough at work. Either one alone usually isn't enough to do this. Both together is.
You
wait you remember the work thing?
Coach
Last Wednesday. The Q2 review week — you said it was going to be a lot.

What we won't take
from you.

Most apps in this category sell their users one way or another. We've designed this one so we couldn't, even if we wanted to.

No ads. Now or ever.

You're paying for this app. That's the entire business model. There's nothing else.

No data sold. To anyone.

Not data brokers. Not "research partners." Not anonymized, not aggregated. Your data stays in our database and goes nowhere.

Photos deleted after we read them.

If you log meals with photos, we read the food, save the data, and delete the image. We don't keep your kitchen.

Delete everything in one tap.

From in the app. From the website. No "are you sure" gauntlets. Gone within 24 hours.

You can see what we see.

Ask the coach what it knows about you, anytime. We'll show you. The asymmetry only works if it's inspectable.

Pricing

Honest. Upfront.

One product, one promise. Pick the way you want to pay. Cancel anytime — really.

Monthly
$12.99/month
Pay as you go. No commitment.
For trying it out, or for life stages where annual feels like too much. Pause for up to 3 months anytime.

A lifetime supporter tier is in the works for v1.1. If that's interesting, the early access list is the way to hear about it.

Common questions

Things people actually ask.

Is this just another meditation app?

No. There's no meditation library. No breathwork tracks. No ambient sounds. If you want those, Calm and Headspace are great and we'd recommend them honestly.

This is a coach. It pays attention to your sleep, your training (if you add that), your weeks, and talks to you about them. That's the whole shape of it.

How is this different from Whoop, Oura, or Vora?

Those products give you scores, readiness percentages, and graphs that go up. Plenty of people genuinely like that, and the calmer ones — Whoop especially — are good at staying out of your face when you want them to. We'd recommend them honestly if that's what you want.

Two things this one does differently.

First — no scoreboard at all. Not a calmer scoreboard, not a gentler one. There's no daily number for you to chase or react to. An observation, not a score.

Second — it remembers across weeks, not just within a session. What you told it in March shows up when it's relevant in May. Every coach in this category forgets you by the following week; this one is the bet that continuity is what actually helps.

If you love your Whoop, this isn't the upgrade. If you've tried every coach in this space and they all felt like goldfish, this might be the one.

Why is there a paywall before I can use it?

Because the business model is honest. We charge users so we don't have to advertise, sell data, or design for engagement metrics that hurt you. Every free wellness app has a different way of paying for itself, and most of those ways aren't great for the user.

The 7-day trial is real. We send a heads-up 48 hours before we charge, in case you forgot. Cancel takes one tap. We refund without friction if you ask.

I'm in eating disorder recovery. Is this safe to use?

Short answer for v1.0: yes. Nutrition and calorie tracking are not in the launch version. The app's only active dimension at launch is sleep.

When we do ship nutrition (v1.1 or v1.2, depending on user feedback), calorie display will be off by default and gated behind an explicit opt-in. If you've had a difficult relationship with calorie counting, we'll suggest skipping that opt-in.

We don't show body weight as a tile. We don't display "you're on track to lose X pounds." We don't comment on your food choices. If you're working with a treatment team, please ask them whether tracking sleep and journaling is appropriate for you.

What if I just want to use it for sleep?

That's the default. When you sign up, you pick what's most on your mind — sleeping better, getting stronger, feeling lighter, feeling better in general, coming back from something hard, or not sure yet. Each one shapes the app differently.

If you pick "sleeping better," you get sleep. That's it. No training tab, no nutrition logging, no extra features cluttering the home screen. You can always add more later.

What devices does it work with?

iPhone and Android, with Apple Health or Health Connect for sleep data. Confirmed in testing: Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit / Google Pixel Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Amazfit / Zepp. Should also work with anything else that syncs to those platforms — Oura, Whoop, Polar, Withings — though we haven't tested every device.

You don't need a wearable. Phone-based sleep estimation works too, and manual entry is always available.

Can I really pause my subscription?

Yes — up to 3 months. In Settings, tap "Take a break" and pick 30, 60, or 90 days. We go quiet. No pushes, no presence. When you come back, we're here.

Heads up: Apple and Google still charge during pause periods (we can't override that). If you want to actually stop paying, that's a separate cancel button, and it's just as easy.

Who built this?

One person, in Mountain View. Solo founder, full-stack dev, building this because the wellness apps available felt like work — and he wanted to make something that felt like a friend instead.

There's a founder note if you want the longer version.

A note from the founder
I built this because every wellness app I tried felt like work. I wanted one that felt like a friend who happened to be paying attention.

If that's the kind of app you've been looking for, I'd love for you to try it. Email me directly any time — I read everything.
